International Workshop on Peace Education in Northeast Asia, Fukuoka, March 5-6, 2023

Held in collaboration with the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Centre on Education for International Understanding, on March 4-5, 2023, and with support from the Fukuoka Convention and Visitors Bureau (FCVB), this workshop was convened to discuss a draft curriculum framework for peace education for use across Northeast Asia. Partners from Japan, South Korea and China were involved, and agreement was reached on revisions and additions to the draft, which will be reviewed at a meeting later in 2023 in Nanjing, China.
