International partnerships are crucial to the UNESCO Chair Program. UNESCO Chairs share relevant expertise amongst higher education institutions, policymakers, multilateral bodies and local communities. Existing partners to the Kyushu University UNESCO Chair include universities, UNESCO agencies and research institutes, primarily in Asia or the Asia-Pacific. Through working with our partners, we seek to enhance our own capacity to undertake innovative research and training relating to Education for Peace, Social Justice and Global Citizenship, and to build capacity internationally.
